One for the Road

Devine Road put in a stellar effort from box 4 in Monday night's semi final for the Multiquip Magic Maiden series at Wentworth Park.. He ran an impressive 30:39 to come in second by one and a half lengths.

Proud owner Matthew Parrelli had his lucky draw hands on when he selected box one for Saturday's Mulitquip Magic Maiden Final. Devine Road loves the rails and has the early speed to hold them going into the first bend.

The classy son of Trousers out of Chanel's Diamond posted 30:22 on Monday night at the Glebe circuit. He ran a smart second sectional of 13:88 and it is believed that there is still improvement on that.

Overall Pat Parrelli managed a hat trick at Wenty in two days with three classy dogs that will surely demonstrate more in the future.

Magic Maiden Winners

The Multiquip Magic Maiden Heats on Sunday saw two youngsters from De Vines Kennels turn up the heat at Wenty. First to run was Devine Shiraz who jumped from box eight. His time, 30:49 was a good start to the day and his run home of 16:09 will surely put him in contention during the semi finals.

Devine Road was the next to run and here is a youngster with a lot of potential. His second sectional 14:04 was the quickest of the day on the way to a 30:28 win.
